Pot up plugs in 7cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers. Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers.
When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. For their final position, grow fuchsia plants in a sunny or semi shaded site. Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to prolong the flowering period.
